About Origin Florals

Origin Florals is a floral preservation and botanical design studio located in Arizona. A one-woman shop, owned and operated by Taylor Rojas. Each flower is responsibly sourced and delicately preserved using both traditional and modern flower pressing techniques. Each floral design is made with time, attention, and lots of TLC (did anybody else start singing “Don’t Go Chasing Waterfalls”, too?)

Our Story

Origin Florals was born when I discovered pressed and preserved flowers that I had hidden away in my mother’s yearbook 20 years ago. I was fascinated with how each flower had perfectly preserved details that were waiting to be rediscovered – an ode to Charles Darwin’s’ botanical drawings. Plus, I have a self-admitted obsession with FLOWERS and was in love with the idea of capturing the beauty of a flower forever.

Our Vision

Origin Florals’ motto and goal is to pay respect to nature, to our mother Earth and the beautiful botanicals we have grown to love. Origin Florals strives to capture the beauty of our natural flora and transforms it into art to appreciate for years to come. A transcendence beyond the fleeting lifespan of a flower once it blooms. At Origin Florals, it all begins with a flower.

I let the beauty of the natural botanical shine through – I do not alter the natural color of the pressed florals. Whether I am preserving your special floral arrangement or creating one-of-a-kind botanical art, I believe that each floral design should be authentic, natural, and honest.

Origin Florals believes in foraging sustainably and responsibly. All fresh flowers originated from my own harvest or were collected from local florists who could no longer sell to the public. Dried botanicals receive a second life at Origin Florals, a rebirth, to appreciate their beauty in art form once again. Origin Florals will never take the first flower or the last flower of a plant. I take only what I need and no more.
